Tim Maloney...Shaktim...Hamlet 104...Channeling Jim Carrey

an actor prepares...One of my best explorations...but a little sing songy...and I'm learning a great deal from listening...holding on to verbs...maybe I can choose just a few verbs instead of every single one. Why I called it Jim Carrey Channeling? I don't know...It just has this other worldly, beyond Method approach to it that reminds me of the outrageous passion that Jim Carrey Explodes onto a scene with in his characters. I suppose my favorite Character Actor would have to be Jim Carrey. I am happy to share that I am now represented by a Commercial Agent and am still seeking representation for a Theatrical Agent. My goal is to be on a Series this year. perhaps a Dramedy.

This TAKE evolves through 3 previous TAKES and is my freshest TAKE ... meaning, my most recent. That was supposed to be funny. But here I am with about 4 different edited 336's ... and I just feel that I've gotten a little TOO creative with the editing / colorizations... and I needed to refrain (which only happened somewhat here) ... but Sans my usual underscoring, I hope you like this one and if you do, the best way you can show your appreciation for my work is to copy the URL and post it on your Facebook page, or twitter. ONE Actor, ONE Monologue/Soliloquy, 365 TAKES ... An Actor Prepares

This was my first TAKE back from seeing Jude Law play Hamlet in NYC. I was moved and inspired by Jude bringing such a warmth and humor to his Hamlet. He was certainly well received by the audience and I think every moment that brought some 'lightness' to the story was well directed.

Its taken me a long time to put this TAKE up because I played around with the editing, finding some new ways to bring out the light and darkness.

Today I am eager to complete my project and move on to other projects. If you like what I'm doing, please share me with your friends. I would love more subscribers. And I'd love to get the invitation to be on Oprah !!! 'Dreams are Made of Action'. Even if I'm in India when I get the call from Oprah ... I will come back.

Hamlet 333 Irish Actor ... REDONE for Joe Cool

OK... I am going to leave the first one on, but this is re-edited with Joe Cools advice that the volume was on the low side. I decided to put it through garage band on my iMac... you can tell a big difference in my simple ADR work. Thanks Joe for all you do and for the invite to come to Alaska to have you film some Hamlet TAKES... I am really looking forward to that trip !!!

I have about 40 TAKES that I have been mulling over as to what to do with ... but none of them are really TRUE ... and thats what I want for the end of my project. I have a goal to complete this within the two year mark. But now I'm thinking that if I don't make the time, I'll be more satisfied If I wait to put up the best work that I can.
