ONE Actor, ONE Monologue, 365 TAKES

The journey to become a film actor !!! Check it out... A good Friend just gave me some advice on what to do once my exploration is finished... and that would be to put a compilation together... so you can see some of the really good TAKES ...

That would definitely TAKE some time to figure out... but for now... I'm just wanting to process this 'completion' in as honest a way as I can. Without Direction, I have begun to lose focus and doubt myself ... but some of my new viewers on youtube have kept me at it with their props...

This is a special TAKE because I had Joe Cool of The Joe Cool Show on the phone and I asked him if he would listen to me do a TAKE. I always Prefer to have an audience when I'm on a set... and sure enough, I think you'll be able to spot the places where having his 'presence' over 'skype', helped me to be more truthful. I also blocked the screen with the skype page so you can clearly see the different head position I had for the TAKE. Joe, you are always there when I need to talk on the phone and you've helped me so much with every aspect of my work on YouTube. Editing, Acting, Underscoring, showcasing on other sites... if it weren't for you, I may have very well not continued on my project. As you keep telling me, even with the low views on YouTube, what I have done has celebrated the human spirit and inspired others to pursue my motto: 'Dreams are Made of Action'.

T I M M A L O N E Y ... Shaktim ... an actor prepares 

365 TAKES of 'To Be Or Not To Be'. One man's journey to become a film actor. Ok, well, lets be clear... I've been in the entertainment industry since I was a kid and getting paid for singing since I was 18. Its been quite a journey and in all honesty, I never had pictured myself as a film actor, not until I was given a check for a 5 and under on a Soap I did in NYC and said, 'NO WAY' ... I'm going to LA to get on TV. Ha. And 10 years later, after a several year hiatus due to an illness that nearly took me out for good, I have a couple more soaps, a National Mercedes Commercial and a handful of Shorts making their way around the festival circuits as well as a really fun time with some great up and coming directors in all of my student films. And now I have this YouTube project, Hamlet 365, which has been recognized in a documentary in the UK. My first 'description' or 'blog' made the claim of my dream to be in a Shakespeare Play. It took exactly one year and 3 months to have that dream come true. I played King Duncan recently in Circus Theatricals workshop production of Macbeth at The Odyssey Theatre in Los Angeles. And now I'm nearing the end of my Hamlet Project and hope to work with Geoffrey Owens to bring my last 'grouping' of Hamlets into their full power. I Do have a dream to play Hamlet and had the pleasure to do so for a Student Film at UCLA. I look forward to the future when Directors and Producers hire me from this trip I've made to share with youtube ONE Actor, ONE Monologue, ONE Journey through Stanislavski's Method ...
