an actor prepares ...
One man's journey to become a film actor... sharing with YouTubers what it is like to create a character. My journey to bring my dream to fruition comes from a well traveled life of many trials, successes and failures. It was my dream when I saw Oprah have the YouTube STARS on her show... to fulfill a wild fantasy I had to be in a Shakespeare Play. In just one year, I've made that come true when I won the role of King Duncan, in Macbeth with my acting company, Circus Theatricals. And before that I was chosen as one of the dozen YouTube Hamlets to be featured in a Documentary in the UK that aired on Christmas Day. Out of my exploring this ONE soliloquy, I came up with the phrase, 'Dreams are Made of Action' ... because in my limited understanding of YouTube and viral uploading, I knew that by marketing myself this way, I was bound to be discovered at some point. I would like to be an inspiration to others to follow their dreams ... even through the limitations that life presents us through illness and change.
my change has come in actually following through with my commitment to share 365 TAKES of HAMLET. Living with an undiagnosed bi-polar for the first 39 years of my life, I seldom was able to have successful ventures without messing up somehow or another. The love and passion I have for creating art is what keeps me doing what I do and then there is Yogic Science, that literally Saved my Life... I hope you enjoy and help me achieve my goal of Sharing with Oparh what makes Shaktim an inspirational LIFE !!!
